I went to this morning. I haven’t been there in a long time maybe almost a year and they had a dress that was like $18 and the regular price items that used to be a five or now nine dollars, and then like obviously Goodwill even more than that then I went to another like side tiny little thrift store, and their prices are gone up …

I freeze tablespoons of olive oil in silicone candy molds. No more rancid oil. I can pop out just a few with no measuring.

I love how you still make the play room still decored like the house and, organize it with baskets. When my kids were little I used the recycling bins you could buy with the lids, I cut out pictures of toys or what went in there from magazines, taped over the pictures with packaging tape. This helped keep the play room cleaned up some even with the younger boys.

I don't see why anything has to go to the dump at all. After a certain any of time in bin they should have a free bin. Most still useful.

I saw in another post where the people took rugs to a car wash and used their scrub brush and sprayer to wash ther rugs.They showed how to rolls rugs to squeeze out the water.I thought this was such a neat idea

I'm addicted to your shows and the way you see potential for beauty in what looks ugly today. One question lingers though. You do a lot of spray painting in what looks like your garage. I have not figured out how you are able to use a relatively tiny piece of paper underneath your turn table without having the floor look like it has 59 coats of paint.

Hi. Regarding this video about duplicating affordable dupes home decor - where you turned a lamp into a vase - you had help cutting the hole. Can a person do this on their own? And what about the tools used? As this is probably a business for you - once you have the initial expense of buying the tools - then you have them forever. Question is if this is just a hobby for someone - what do they do / use to obtain the same effect? What about the cost of paint, finishes, brushes, glue guns, accessories etc. and a place to keep all these items? Regards

Only ever papered one wall ever. Used the tutorials to do it. PREPARATION is essential - don't take any short cuts. It was an old wall & still had patches of the original wall paper when the house was bought which was lovely to see how much styles had changed. Better to buy the proper equipment no matter how small the job is. As a beginner I found a PINK WALLPAPER GLUE which is so much better to use as you glue the walls so it cuts out tressle tables or requiring cutting surfaces. You can see where the glue is & the wallpaper just goes straight up on the wall & it's so much easier to re-position if needed. The glue dries clear. Saves having to fold the wallpaper. Even though this is decor on a budget & a small job not in a prominent place ALWAYS have enough wallpaper. Maybe pick a wall & make it a feature wall & leave the rest painted or paint it in a contrasting colour. Or as you did & add storage, pictures etc. to them. You've some lovely ideas 👍🙂. Regards 🇮🇪

Tiffany, your children will remember this special room you made them forever. Is darling and so well done! When my middle daughter was 4, I’d collected as many single mattresses as I could safely stack and made her a “Princess and the Pea” bedroom. That was her favorite book. I made a different floral or pattered cover to go around the mattresses and only had to fully dress the top. There was a ladder she used to climb. She loved it and still talks about it 36 years later. These special mommy moments always matter! I wish we could have seen their faces! Great job on everything! I enjoy your channel and all of your projects!

I live in Europe and just wonder how much all these products cost because here it would cost way over the price of a new chair or table. Of course you would not get the pleasure of renovating but even with that pleasure it would cost a fortune. Each product would be min 30 dollars.And I do not speak about the tools and accessories.

That thing at 4:05 is a bottle capper from the pre-industrial era. It's adjustable for bottles of different heights.
